📜 Historical Background
The Siddhivinayak Temple was established in 1801 by Laxman Vithu and Deubai Patil, a childless couple who built the temple with the belief that Lord Ganesha blesses devotees with fulfillment and wisdom.
Originally a small shrine, it grew in prominence during the late 20th century, becoming one of India’s most visited temples, especially after political leaders and film personalities began publicly visiting it.
